Undergraduates

• Kelley Coulman: Chemistry B.S. graduate (2024). Working in the lab summer 2023 through her graduation in 2024, Kelley initiated a project to use AFM-based force spectroscopy to study the sugar pucker of single-stranded RNA.

REU students

• Alexandra Reece: Biochemistry B.S. and English B.A. student, Georgia Southern University. During summer 2023, Alex initiated the expression and purification of outer membrane protein G (OmpG) in the group.
• Xuliana O: Biology and Physics B.S. student, Virginia Commonwealth University. During summer 2024, Xuliana developed and tested methods for cleaning AFM cantilevers by UV/ozone treatment to allow repeated chemical functionalization.
